This Privacy Policy explains how PLAYERLYNK ("PlayerLynk", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit this website or submit a report request, and how you can exercise your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who We Are
The data controller is PLAYERLYNK, a French SAS registered under SIREN 928 583 798, with its registered office at 2 Rue Héraclès, 59650 Villeneuve d'Ascq, France. For any privacy-related question, you can reach us at contact@playerlynk.io.
2. What Personal Data We Collect
The only personal data we currently collect through this website is what you provide us directly through our Free Report Request form (available in the site's contact form and pop-up):
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your club or program (organization)
- The name of the player or roster you'd like analyzed, and their league/competition
- Any additional message or question you include
This website does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that changes in the future, this policy — and our Cookie Policy — will be updated accordingly, and a cookie consent banner will be added where required.
3. Why We Use Your Data
We process your data for two purposes:
- To respond to and fulfill your report request — preparing and sending you the player or roster analysis you asked for. This is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a service relationship with you.
- To follow up with relevant commercial communications about PlayerLynk's services, based on our legitimate interest in developing our business relationship with you. You can object to this at any time, free of charge — see "Your Rights" below.
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored in a Supabase database hosted in the European Union. Supabase acts as our data processor and is bound by a data processing agreement. We do not use any other third-party service to store the personal data you submit through this website.
5. How Long We Keep It
We keep your data for 3 years from the date of our last contact with you, in line with standard practice for commercial prospecting data. You may ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
6. Who Has Access to Your Data
Your data is accessed only by the PlayerLynk team — every report request is reviewed by a member of our team, a former professional player, before your report is prepared and sent. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with any third party other than Supabase, our hosting processor described above.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request the erasure of your data
- Restrict or object to certain processing, including marketing communications, at any time
- Request a portable copy of your data

8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access-controlled storage and encrypted transmission (HTTPS) between your browser and our systems.
9. Children
This website and our services are intended for basketball clubs, programs, and other professional organizations, not for individual consumers or children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we start using new tools on the website. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
